Murder your Valentine

Here it is, our new video for Murder of Crows.  It was shot over a wet and dreary day at High Elms Manor outside of Watford by the talented Dan Cayzer.  The song is available on our debut cd Thrup'ny Upright and can be purchased in our Shop

What could be more appropriate for Valentine's day than murdering your sweetheart?

We hope you enjoy it!

Auld Lang Syne

Most people are happy to see the end of 2016 as it seems a record number of beloved celebrities took their final bow.  We of The Filthy Spectacula had a lovely year, actually.  We played many wonderful shows, met lots of fantastic new people and released our debut full length album.  As we stagger our way through this festive season, we would like to raise a glass (or several) to everyone that made 2016 special for us.  To all the people that came to see us and spent their hard earned lucre on our…Read more

Here we go again

We sincerely hope you have been enjoying our new video for Ode to Drunk Romeos.  We do hope you have popped by our youtube page and given us a hearty thumbs up!  For this we thank you.

Ode to Drunk Romeos

This week we are once again teaming up with the lovely and talented Dan Cayzer, video producer and director extraordinaire.  We shall be shooting our third video, completing the trilogy of drink, debauchery and death.

Keep watching this space and thanks ever so much for your continued support!

Asylum Seekers

We are a flamboyant bunch.  We try to offer a visual as well as an aural feast at our shows.  What we lack in boyish good looks, we (over) compensate with wardrobes that reflect our personas in vivid detail.  We usually stand out from the crowd, with Weekend at the Asylum being a notable exception.  This year marks our second appearance at the world's largest gathering of Steampunks and we enjoyed it immensely.  We were hard-pressed to stand out from the crowd but gave it our best effort. Mr. E was…Read more

Return to The Mill

We were so glad to be invited back to The Music Mill in Plumstead.  A great venue full of wonderful music lovers.  I would ramble on about the show but The Riddler summed it all up so brilliantly in his blog.  Click here to read his marvellous missive.

Hootananny Brixton Review

Our return to Stranger than Paradise at the Hootananny Brixton was most enjoyable.  Amanda, the hostess with the mostess was her usual charming self and put together a top notch evening of musical mayhem.  We opened the batting with our usual buffet of ditties about drinking and debauchery.  The crowd was drinking along with us and looked pretty debauched so we got along very well indeed.  The Riddler leaped off the stage during our final number and fiddled with several lovely ladies.

Next up was the…Read more

Cogs Bar Birmingham Cancelled

Sorry to inform you but the show at Cogs Bar on July 25th in Birmingham has been cancelled.  This is due to circumstances beyond our control and not the fault of alcohol at all.  We hope to rebook at this fine venue and will keep you posted when we sort it out.

Filthy rewards for the faithful!

Loyalty impresses the officers of the good ship Spectacula. So does showing your support for the Filthy Crew on your sleeve and LISTENING WHEN WE'RE TALKING TO YOU!! ... er, listening when we're talking to you.

So we're going to hand out some privy reward booty to everyone who's on the mailing list on 1 July.

Guess what that means? There's still time for your drinking companions, favourite whores, creditors and the busty barmaids at your local alehouse to get their grubby paws on some too (don't worry…
